The Victorian Era spanned the rule of Queen Victoria, from 1837 until her death in 1901. The fashions and styles evolved during those 64 years, which have been segmented into different periods. The Grand Period, being one of them; from 1861 to 1885, jewelry enjoyed a bigger-than-life style, with large, heavy pieces, richly embellished and ornate in design.
This wonderful enameled pinchbeck bracelet came to us missing its central element, and we found the perfect centerpiece already in our collection- a 14k, garnet, and enamel brooch from the Grand Period! The sky blue enamel on both pieces match perfectly, and the Rococo swirls and Grand Period elements on both complement one another like they were made for each other! We combined them to create the perfect statement bracelet!
