Typically Victorian in design, this brooch has us all swooning! From the peaks at the top to the swaying tassels at the bottom, and everything in between, it is full of delightful details! Made of 15 karat gold, it showcases a perfectly purple amethyst stone in the center, wreathed by little golden clover-like leaves and accented with two tiny seed pearls. The oval setting is embellished with gold boules and roping and is supported by two side panels with Maltese crosses in black enamel. Two peaks at the top have had jump rings added, so that it may be worn as a necklace as well as a brooch. At the base is a thick scrolling pattern off of which hang two bell shaped caps with herring bone chain tassels dangling from them. Each chain is finished with a golden boule, creating a little weight so the tassels will sway properly!
An altogether charming, flirty and fun piece, you are sure to create a stir when you sway into room!
