An ancient Roman coin has been framed in 18 karat yellow gold to allow it to be worn as a pendant. This was a practice made popular during the Victorian Era, when the upper classes went on Grand Tours to visit the ruins of classic civilizations. The pieces could be worn on watch chains, charm bracelets, or at the neck. Coin jewelry has never gone out of style, and continues to add intrigue to all ensembles!
