Originally worn as a decoration on a watch chain, this fob has a wonderfully blood-red, intaglio carved with the figure of a Spartan soldier. This could have been used as a seal, for stamping in hot wax on a letter.
Today, it could be worn on a chain or charm bracelet. It's a great piece to collect, and so fun to wear several at once!
