The "GARLAND" hallmark was the trademark used by The Ball Co. of Chicago, Illinois on their fine jewelry. In 1924, the company began carrying their 'Garland' line, aptly named after The Garland Building in Chicago where the company was housed, while continuing to offer very collectible railroad timepieces. The company discontinued their Garland jewelry in 1960 and the watch-side of the company is now housed in Switzerland.
Crafted in 10 karat yellow gold, this sizeable ring has beautiful cobalt blue enameling and the initials SI studded in glittering diamonds. This could have been produced as a class or company ring, but we are loving the way it looks like a dollar sign! A great ring with a lot of heft that could be worn by men and women alike!
