This stunning French Napoleon III period ring is truly a "work of art!" Depicting a fine young court gentleman at his easel drawing his own work of art. The image is meticulously painted by hand on a porcelain tile with an 18K gold bezel and silver setting boasting adorable enameled forget-me-not flowers with tiny inset seed pearls all around. Originally a brooch, it was converted to a beautiful ring with an elaborate 14K gold mount molded from a ring of the same period. The gold shank is finely sculpted with piercings and floral designs. It is resizable. What a romantic antique French jewel this is!
