The year was 1878; bustles, ballgowns and billiards were all the rage in London, as were lovely little golden rings to wear upon one's dainty finger! This petite ring has a leafy motif flanking three garnets and six diamonds, which form a sweet flower on the ring top. Luckily, there are marks on the ring which help us identify where it came from and the year it was made. By the looks of it, 1878 was a very good year!
