This unusual Victorian beauty boasts a huge 35 X 25 mm royal blue Lapis cabochon encircled with seed pearls and with danglers of two rubies, a central emerald and five teardrop lapis gems all set in silver.
The dramatic visual elements of this jewel make it quite striking. It can effortlessly be worn on a dress, jacket, collar or velvet choker. The multi colored precious jewels display a beautiful presentation especially with their foiled interiors and the pearl halos highlight the outlines with their subtle luster. The emerald and two natural rubies have closed backs typical of the Georgian period and they are foiled, while the large lapis cabochon has an open back, more common in the Victorian era. The intricate detail of this extraordinary timeless jewel is simply remarkable.

GEMSTONES: 35 X 25 mm royal blue Lapis cabochon, encircled with 37 natural pearls measuring approximately 2cm each. The central emerald drop weighing approximately .50 ct also encircled with 14 1cm pearls, then there are a pair of rubies each weighing about .50 ct and finally five lapis drops measuring 7 to 15mm in length.

Condition: Superb antique condition! There is hardly any wear and/or surface scratches commensurate with a piece of 150 years old, just some tarnishing of the silver. It is in great condition.
